- A Nurture Group is a small group of up to 12 children, supported by 2 trained adults
- Nurture Groups normally run 5 days per week, with children attending between two and 4 terms, depending on their progress
- Children maintain links with their mainstream class and generally attend their Nurture Group for 2.5 hours per day
- Children are selected according to their needs and can be assessed using the Boxall Profile, which can be used to inform developmental and social targets for the children
